MindC@re

Conception and creation of MindC@re, a product designed for digital health. It is a medically certified solution (Class IIa) intended for dementia risk assessment. The product combines data from two digital solutions: MindC@lc and MindBr@ce. The target users are family members, caregivers, friends, and helpers of individuals aged 50 and above.

Mindcare has attracted interest from potential funders. It received an Honourable Mention in the NOVA ImpACT Challenges 2023 and was invited to participate in the NOVA Science & Innovation Day.

At 55, she developed cardiovascular risk factors and was under medical supervision. Her increasing forgetfulness was dismissed as normal by her relatives and friends, and she never underwent dementia screening. By 60, her behavior led to social isolation and she quit her job. At 65, she was diagnosed with dementia and began targeted therapy. By 70, her dependency had worsened, leading to institutionalization. Today, she no longer recognizes her relatives and spends most of her time sitting on the garden bench.
